Responsibilities
- Carry out setting-out and levels for concrete works (foundations, walls, columns, slabs, formwork) per approved drawings.
- Operate survey instruments (Total Station, Auto Level, GPS) accurately and verify their readings.
- Establish, maintain and protect control points and benchmarks.
- Check levels, dimensions and alignment before pouring and issue survey check results.
- Prepare as-built surveys and compare them with the design.
- Calculate survey quantities (excavation, backfill, concrete) from field measurements.
- Coordinate with site and quality engineers, the main contractor and the consultant to approve measurements.
- Prepare daily survey reports and keep measurement records.
- Take care of the survey instruments, including periodic calibration and maintenance.
- Comply with site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- 3+ years of surveying experience on construction sites; concrete works preferred.
- Proficient in operating Total Station and Auto Level.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.
- Knowledge of survey quantity calculation and as-built drawings.
- Able to work in the field in varying weather conditions.
- Accuracy and punctuality.
