Responsibilities
- Inspect scaffolds before use and periodically per approved requirements.
- Apply the scaffold tagging system (safe to use / do not use).
- Verify foundations, ties, bracing, platforms and guardrails.
- Ensure erection is carried out by certified scaffolders.
- Stop work on any unsafe scaffold and report to the safety officer.
- Keep inspection records.
Requirements
- Valid Scaffold Inspector certificate from a recognized body.
- 4+ years of scaffolding experience on construction sites.
- Knowledge of scaffolding standards and safety regulations.
- Able to read instructions in English.
