Responsibilities
- Operate the crane (mobile or tower) safely according to load charts and the lift plan.
- Carry out and record the daily pre-use inspection.
- Work to the signals of the rigger / signalman and follow their instructions.
- Never exceed the safe working load; stop any unsafe lift.
- Report any defect or concern on the crane immediately.
- Log operating hours and follow site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid crane operator certificate from a recognized body.
- Valid driving license.
- 5+ years of crane operating experience on construction sites.
- Knowledge of load charts and lifting signals.
- Strict compliance with safety requirements.
